    Not difficult really.....

    The Veyron is such a tank, it is overweight before you add all that extra power to compensate.

    The Mclaren F1 can run it closer than it should with only 2/3rds of the power of the Veyron.

    So for this thing it is no surprise it bolted towards the horizon!
