If its not broke, don't fix it.

Although this has a nice digital display that will show psi.
It flashes your max boost after a run.
It will turn red and then cut boost down at a set level
Loads more features.

Like the standard Pierburg?

And is it usefull at higher boosts?

Yes and Yes, Controls up to 43psi and has a high/low boost setting. It does no spike like standard as this is bad.
