Didn't see an Uno, just a pile of orange coloured powder on the drive

a new bumper itself aint cause for concern unless its hiding any crash damage but these small mouth jobbies give absolutely bugger all air flow to the oil cooler and intercooler so then you could bang on about whether the cars suffered for that lack of cooling over the time its had that bumper. that one is getting no head on air flow but of course a large FMIC and moving the oil cooler would alleviate the problem. from those photos you cant tell what its had done to it.

if fiat sent some out of the factory like that then i'll eat my hat.

do your checks and youll be fine if everything comes up ok.

for 1250 id want it with the correct wide mouth bumper . maybe its a 55 conversion with GT engine etc?

Like i say ive owned 2 previous small mouth bumpers and couldnt see any signs of accident damage plus like this one they all have the head light washers bang in place.

I stand by the idea some rolled out of the factory like this, why? I have not a clue.

This car is a bargain and are we forgetting the the low low mileage too.

Another small smouth i found tonight

It is strange they put a small mouth on there, I imagine at driving speeds the airflow through it would be adequite for a stock engine and standard boost pressure.

Makes a massive difference to the look, but an easy sort as said!

I still think £1250 is alot for a 14year old Fiat, generally they're still quite numerous, always up for sale etc.

I think £1250 is a fair price in the current climate for a car in good condition that hasn't been chavved much and has a long MOT.

I would not pay anymore for one though.

You can take your pick of runners which need odds and sods sorting for anywhere between £500 and £850 these days.

I think bone stock cars are always worth more, in a climate where 19/20 are modified - but I would say that

Are we disregarding the low mileage with SH then. I would argue there isnt the abundance of cheap unchaved Gt's about now, worth every penny and more IMO.

Milage doesn't mean that much when age is also a factor.

Could of been used to nip round the corner twice a day along a shabby road and be shot to pieces, under use can be as bad as over use sometimes, could be a gem also but I wouldn't pay over a tonne to find out personally. offer £850 for it, they'd chew at £1k.

i got 1250 for mine with a few little issues and higher mileage. Had lots of call and sold straight away so i think what hes asking is fair providing the car is as described. i quite like it!
