I stuck one of those LED bulbs in mine made it a bit brighter

that bulb drained my battery i didnt even see that it was on bulb so dim

I don't have one, I'll go to a scrappies and get one. The light output is irrelevant, I'd be putting an LED in anyway. But I was going to tap into the power feed and add a 60cm LED strip.
