    Use of English

There is an ongoing decline in the quality of posts, particularly the descent into "text speak", lack of necessary punctuation and capitalisation, incorrect spelling and word usage. This makes it difficult to understand what you mean and is generally against the forum's Terms and Conditions. It also prevents search accuracy. This is not confined to new users only.

Please remember, this is a forum not a chat room. We try to be lenient in moderation, as we can all make mistakes. But this should not be taken to mean that poor English is acceptable. e.g. 'lol' is not a substitute for the full stop.

Foreigners (of which we have quite a few) who may have to rely on online translators will have major problems with the jargon, colloquial and regional slang and other 'errors'. Lack of punctuation has a serious impact upon translation engines also.
