    Trying to set up a web page advice and help

    Didn't know how hard it is to actually make a web page well im trying and hoping it would turn out ok but advice please

    Make sure you use a spell checker.

    Minimise scrolling, all links work correctly and compatability across all the available web browsers.

    To quote a well-known saying - KISS or "Keep It Simple Sir" (more often Stupid, but I don't want to seem impolite). Directory structure and relative (internal) links should be straightfoward, and don't get too carried away with all the possible bells and whistles. HTML pages can be edited using such basic tools as Wordpad, Word etc., if you don't get too ambitious.

    I've just seen the Hello World! That has to be the most widely used example. I remember for Uni we had to code a website from scratch in HTML.

    I'll find the notes on the basics you need.

    You did that at University?

    Christ we had to do that at A Level...in notepad.
