im thinking of doing a project punto, and i was thinking do a sporting because they easier, i dont want to chuck my self in the deep end just yet.

only reason i thought sporting so i can build my knowledge up of mechanics and i just loved messing round with my old sporting (noddy)

yes ive been looking at my old sporting and want an other broom yellow mk1

but want be for a while as i get me self out debt haha :P

So what exactly are we supposed to advise you on?

i would but i know i wont get no way near what i payed and spent on my saxo

My 1.6 is in the cars for sale, good tidy base for a project, Tidy it up and do a few gt bits to it (rear beam,brakes etc) and when your ready do the 1.6gt conversion.
Has loads of spares and will drive away.

It's simple really...the reason I have a large amount of torque is that my car has a 2.2 i-cdti engine in the front.
