Arrow Detailed my Dad's new porsche

    Well, new to him anyway

He picked it up yesterday and it looked so dull and flat.

I only gave it just a little spruce up -

    - Washed initially with fair liquid and 2BM
    - Cleaned wheels with APC detailing brush
    - Clayed the whole car with Bilt Hamber regular
    - Washed with 2BM using CG citrus wash and gloss
    - Dried with ASDA drying towel
    - 1 x Layer of SRP
    - 1 x Layer of Collinite #915.
    - Glass cleaned with glass cleaner and newspaper.
    - Wheels and Tyres were already well sealed so didn't bother with them

Pretty happy with the results though for just a couple of hours work...

    Befores.

After Claying and being washed. The clay lifted up loads of what looked like tree sap.

I'm guessing this is why it looked so bleak before..

Then After polishing and waxing. Finished.

Anyway yeah, that's basically it - nothing special or any correction. Silvers pretty hard to get a good shine on too haha.

    Cheers, Dan.

    You've got 986, 987 and now 981.

    It's a 986 with standard Boxster S 'facelift' body (late 02 onwards)

The genuine Porsche aerokit has deeper side skirts, spoiler and the 986 Gt3 front bumper, this is the stock body.

I really like these and they are a bargain second hand to buy, even if not to run.
