Since the winter, and the cold weather is out of the way, I’d thought we’d see what preparation you are considering for your cooling system. Below are some of our Top Tips to do before spring.
1) CHECK YOUR LEVELS
Its easy to say, and takes less than 45 seconds, but many people don’t do it! Simply check the min/max levels (the fluid should be in-between) for a bit of peace of mind. To go one step further, you should use a Hydrometer to measure the strength of your antifreeze, and thus the protection you have!

2) GO FOR A FLUSH
If you decide to go for a annual coolant service, make sure you use a good system flush, to clear any deposits. Remember to use a high quality coolant, to ensure maximum protection.

Wouldn't bother with the stop leak, from what I know it can clog up your thermostat and possibly your water pump
