Probably one of the best done punto gt's ever

Went to a cruise is bridgend tonight and met a guy from newport who has done ALL the work to this punto gt himself.

It took him 14mths to complete from start to finish and has so many of his own ideas on it.

It's had a bare metal respray and a brand new lump which at the moment is only on 1500 miles

The car has only been on the road around 3 weeks as it has not long been finished

You really have to see this car in the flesh to believe it, the guy said he will be attending some punto meets soon

Perhaps I'm the only one not to like this at all?

Nice paintwork, nice interior but I wouldn't have said that car was anything special, perhaps see it in the flesh?! Nice fuel filler cap sunk in.

Awful rear centre brake light, something from halfords, horrible rear light clusters, nasty wheels, tiny intercooler, cheap wing mirrors, painted blue calipers lol.

Meh, I think I'm just not a bodywork person lol! I don't see what is special about it. Each to their own again.

There'll never be a 'best GT ever' because modding is so subjective.

I do like the front lights though. Would be interested to hear where he got hold of them.

I like everything but the rear lights, not sure about the LED brake light but at least it's original.

The Mk2 sidestrips looks tidy 8)
