You should try a rolling start in second from about 4000rpm, should both be about to clamber on top of peak torque by then!
Your 16vt is another league mate, look into 4x4 it. rear end of an Dedra / 155 q4 will bolt on, you wouldn't have the hassle I have had with mounting points etc
Cheers am looking into it but unsure what to do as I mite put the engine in a delta Evo2 or keep Punto shell
