The reason for training there was because it was where the highest level mobs were iirc? You couldn't have random encounters in the submarine?

I've never played any FF game, so dunno what all the hype is about. Always had Nintendos as i've grown up until 2 years ago when the Mrs purchased a PS3 with MW2 for my birthday. It's my 1st console like it, no Xbox, PS1 etc so got hooked on COD games instantly.

I have played Uncharted and Assassins creed games recently but what sort of game would i expect this to be?

reckon i might have to give 8 another go then, i didn't stick with it for too long the first attempt.

I spent 70 hours in the training area gettin squall to lvl 99 killing plants only to find out the monstors outside lvled up to.
So when i went out with my lvl 7 quistis i promptly got owned and had to start over.

i finally picked this up for £16 from shopto.net.

It is 1 billion times better than the last version, in fact, we should all pretend that 13 never existed and this is actually 13.

free roaming again
good battle system
lots of monster hunting
casino and mini side games
chocobo racing
time travel

I'm well hooked on it after playing it all day on sunday
