ok with the demise of my original punto engine, i managed to get this replacement car , but with only 2 days before cadwell all i could do is strip the car and pretty much run it as standard, it went really well though apart from massive under-steer as I am still using crap tyres!

To be fair both times I have been its been wet, seemed really slippy today though, seven cars into the barriers that I know of! Great fun though if you kept it on the grey stuff!
Nice to see someone doing some regular trackdays. The MK1's fall over everytime you go round a corner at more than 15mph!
yeah need to swap mt suspension off the original car (with all the weight removed the car looks seriously jacked up), but even though there were many cars that had be on the straights, even in standard form there were hardly any cars that got away through the twisty stuff, bearing in mind it was wet mind!
There will be a terminal speed any car can take a corner in the wet though.
A mate of mine went off at the gooseneck and squashed the car in that tyre wall, not worth wrecking your car over at the end of the day.
