    Audi TT Mk1 (pic heavy)

Havent posted on this site in ages do miss the punto for some reason

thought i would post up a few of my daily toy
Bought it about 2 years ago pretty much standard 1.8T 225bhp quattro

first thing i did was get an item called a "Liquid TT" its a diagnostic device that fits in the air vent

    Polished the intercooler pipe/charger pipe

Next up fitted my private plate along with the v6 rear exhaust valance and a remus back box Wasnt keen on the backbox it stuck out too much but the price i paid was a bargain

Next was a Revo stage 1 remap no real mods needed power goes up to about 260bhp and 270ft lb
About 2months later the clutch was slipping Still made 257bhp & 280ft lb

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l47JQ...0&feature=plcp

Magnex exhaust system came next 2.75" cat back non res with a 3" downpipe

Decided i wanted to go for a black roof in phantom black like the TT QS

Forge cold side relocated d/v and custom made metal dipstick cover

Met a local guy from the TT forum who owns a powder coating business
    did these for free

This is how the car stayed for the best part of a year was pretty much happy with eveything,BUT i got bored of the power and went through an expensive 2months

first item was a Votex front spoiler audi no longer make this

    Custom made intercooler from germany

A Pohenolic Insulator Gasket along with a ported/polished inlet manifold

I had a few other little things done like 4bar FPR smashed my 200cel cat into a decat replaced a lot of the main boost pipes
Then had it remapped with a Revo stage 2 torque was mapped down due to the risk of the rods snapping

pretty happy with how it was running 6th gear pull is pretty mad
While i was there i bought a revo SPS switch which means you can change the settings of the map like boost and timing

after some logging i found the setting i like most timing at 6 and boost at 9 (28psi)which is very aggressive

most recent rolling road back in oct 29th 2011 it was a north vs south rolling road at powerstaion in tewkesbury 283bhp and 321lb ft

Think i have bored you enough now

Good time. Boost dies off really badly on that Badger 5 graph? Is something wrong or do you need a better form of boost control?

theres no such thing as a ko4s, theres k03 fitted to 150bhp 1.8t's, k03s fitted to the late 150's and all 180's, ko4 fitted to the 225bhp varients,

had a golf gti 1.8 20vt 150bhp into work recently doing some pipe work and noticed it had a ko3s on it thought it may have been uprated at one stage, but they actually started fitting the ko3s to late models of the gti,

ko3s is capable of 230-240 once mapped with few minor mods.
