Yeah, a smaller turbo and big turbo are in-line and the exhuasts feed both, but obviously the smaller one spools up, pulling air through the compressor of the bigger turbo but also feeding the cylinders making the process of spooling a massive turbo much quicker. Complicated though and more to go wrong...
