I happen to like Saxo's particularly in terms of the handling compared to a Punto, so i will kindly thank you not to put my words in my mouth!
The words came from your mouth.

I think you missed the point.

This is the exact generalization that you get towards Puntos that you don't like. Not to mention, Puntos suffer with their fair share of rust.

No thats my ex! The saxo's handle way better even on standard suspension, you can throw them into the corners and they just take it, puntos just dont like cornering lol.

    i know the fecker

like i said my vts is standard i jumped in it the over day and it just feels better apart form the peddles are the size of a peanut
    the gearbox smooths
    the seats are comfy
    steering sharp
    its quiet at 60/70
could do with a 6th gear tho :P

like all car they do suffer with rust and the back axle fecking up if you ever want to buy a saxo dout you would but if the back wheels pointing in run away

dont get me wrong puntos are wicked for the small engine BIG power i.e sporting's 1.2 16v 86bhp and GT with out a dv sound mint it chattering away (toby gave me a few pros and cons of owning one :P )
    my next door got a 1.4 206 only 75bhp :P

Loving the use of bold but you have missed my point.

All Saxos do not rust to the point of oblivion just as all Puntos don't blow head gaskets.

Hope that clears things up for you.

    Anyway, back on topic....

I love them, and the fiat coupe turbos I now own a seat Ibiza cupra, and I can honestly say the Gt is so much more fun to drive! Yes it doesn't handle that well and can be temperamental at times but my god it always put a smile on my face! Don't get me wrong the cupra is a nice car to drive but doesn't have the wow factor like the gt's do infact it is actually quite boring to drive compared to the Gt, but you will always get people saying this is better than that and they don't handle as well and that's fine everyone has their own opinion and of they didn't life would be pretty boring (much like my cupra haha) so take everything with a pinch of salt as it's what you like that matters the most! Just my two pence worth!
