    New tv choice.

Ok lads, I want to buy a new tv in the next week.

So what's what these days (led,lcd,3d)?
What's best and what's recommended for everyday home use?

I have hd sky, will I NEED 3d sky with a 3d tv??

    Japanese tv better to have?

    Any help?

Im sure its a matter of personal opinion but i dont like the 3D tvs because of the glasses you have to wear with them.
Maby a good idea to pop down to Currys or somewhere like that which have some on display to see if you like them?
If not id go with LED tv

me and nicola just bought a BeoVision 4 - Bang & Olufsen 3d
very expensive but comes with every thing from room light control auto tilt and angle
85" screen its huge ,we also got a 5.1 Dolby cinema system with this too ,
i also have sky hd and now in the process of getting sky 3d.
great tv, the best feature i like is when you turn it on the screen has a sort of curtain that opens llol i love it worth every pound

I didn't want a 3D TV as it just does my head in after about 5 minutes. Most expensive gimmick ever imo.

Deffo go for an LED over Plasma or LCD though, might have to pay a bit more but my mid-level LED knocks spots off any mid-level LCD or Plasma I've ever seen.

Panasonic Viera range is definitely worth a look. One of the best plasma panels available.
