    too lean!

regardless of EGT, you should NOT run any leaner than 12.5 AFR at full load (MAX on a turbo engine, really it should be 11.8-12.0)

Running it that lean on stock pistons is begging for a hole in one... and im not talking golf here!

Even if its "safe" the way you have it, it only needs something else to make the situation bad - like a bad batch of petrol, and the engine heating up just a little more than usual one day, and its bye bye pistons

just to add, yes i run MS2-E on my sporting, its good but its only good if you want to learn in great detail how ECUs work etc, if all you want is trouble free systems then get a DTA S40pro, they are fantastic ecus for the money.

Or get TDI to map it for you!

Finally I decide to make directly MSII-extra v3.0.
I'm reading a lot of manuals but I block about the idle valve because there are 2 possibilities and I don't know which is right ?

I know GT is PWM idle valve but :

    - on msextra I read this :
    http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/build_manual.htm (step 26 ii)

    - on megamanual and from dr.evil this :
    http://www.megamanual.com/index.html (step 62)

How to know which one is correct ?

Do you have the generated EasyTherm files to update the fireware? Cant seem to find mine and they would help people setup the sensors correctly.
