yeah but you can do 120 in 4th so 5th is fine for just coasting

MS is the same as DTA, its just like building your own bed from Ikea rather then having one come already from FocusDoItAll

The benefit of MS is it is easily mappable to a high degree by any numpty, even im going to try it this weekend hopefully and i cant even solder!

MS does eveything DTA, Haldeck, KMS, Emerald etc do but at a fraction of the cost, its like fire fox to IE

    Haldeck
Tut tut, speeding kills the planet. You mean Haltech? Adi gained better results than Seb4, but only just. The question is not whether MS is better than Sebs (it clearly is) but whether the extra cost, time and effort involved justifies it being worthwhile? I think the answer will vary from person to person. As of yet, it hasn't really proven itself in my eyes.

Just a cheap and nasty version of the same thing then? Good summary

Yes, of course your results are good Adi, your fuelling is good (if a little lean actually), your power curve nice and smooth - which is something I would expect of a £700+ piece of mapping equipment, compared against a £150 "generic chip". The question is over the actual results themselves - the numbers. People on this forum, and your mates down the pub like talking figures. Well, the figures speak for themselves, you're at 220hp or thereabouts, whereas a good SEB4 running 19psi (not 18 like you're running) will net anything from 200-220hp depending on the turbo and particular engine, without the extra expense. We're not exactly talking about the EMS being the only difference between yours and a SEB4 engine, are we?

Another point to make is that Adi had his professionally mapped and payed good money for it too. Adi, have you some results from your best attempt at mapping it?

From 1.0 bar to 1.2bar increased whp by 30.

What can another 0.2bar increase do? well we will find out when its gets alittle more mapping.

As for Debos comments, I am starting to think hes a brand hore.

Car has gone from 22mpg (my mapping) up to 40mpg after the mapping above.

Wont get you anything, just more heat and about 10hp. But then you'll be crying your pistons can't take it

Of course I'm a brand whore - that's why I have Mugen stuff on my Honda's
