Building a MS1 ecu for a Punto GT

It is running? 14.2 standing quarter so the results are good so far.

im wanting a ms, just to build as i think it would be good fun, i have a 1.2 8v mk2 would the ms 2 be better for me, at some point i'm wanting to turbo it too....

i could build it, the stuff that makes me confused is what im going to need as extras when i order.

and the mapping the damn thing after will confuse the hell out of me


any help on this ??

Would be alot different as its not using coil packs, not sure on ICV.

Yep check out the supercharged thread, that ran megasquirt for a while. A search should do the trick. mappings is Ok/fun. Setting up is hard....

hmmm i thought it used 2 coilpacks, two ht leads to each one or av i gone off the tracks ??

Its been done before, its in a thread, it has what you will need and a wiring diagram.

What more do you want?

Apart from the extra money, is there any disadvantage to using a pre-built ecu? IE will it be harder to map due to less of an understanding etc?

It's just I have a really short temper when it comes to fiddly things and I can't be doing with soldering bits onto a circuit board. I'll lose my mind I tell thee.

I can't see a disadvantage with prebuilt, It is fun to build though!
