I don't think there's any reason for it to be tidied up, it's a good discussion? One which is based purely on costs.. nobody has once said the MS is rubbish or whatever, merely that it's unproven and from the results people are expecting, perhaps a bit pointless unless going for a proper build.

    Anyway:

    TT Stage 1 on SEB2 = 170/180hp?

    TT Stage 1 on SEB4 = 190/195hp?

    TT Stage 2 on SEB4 = 210/220hp?
If you have any car care related questions, ask me in the Cleaning/Detailing section.

MS can't be that bad... lot's of the Vaux boys use it.

Just because no Punto geeks here in the UK have used it dosn't mean it can't do the job.

It's like anything... suck it and see.

Hell I asked on here about KMS once, because I know alot of the Cit/Pug boys use it on TB & SC cars... but no one battered an eye lid.

NOS control also, as a few people run this.

You can load a new fuel / spark when nos is run (instantly) thats another benifit of MS that you cant have with SEB and its cheaper than any other ECU to get this function.

To get the best from NOS you need to retard the timing around 3deg yes?

Because KMS is actually poo and massively overpriced next to the old faves, DTA and OMEX, the pug lads all buy it because there all Annie Fanny rich kids bank rolled by their parents WOOOOOOHOOOOOOWWWW

Another thing is that I wanted MS to control fueling as mine was running lean with stock injectors and rich with 304cc injectors. With MS I can get it to run correctly as I have control. There is no seb avalible that would allow this. Hence the need for an aftermarket ecu, it wasnt purchased to make me 300bhp as the engine isnt in a state that can do it.

Don't know who's made what figures Superdan, I'm sure the Hans will know more about that than I. Educated guesses I suppose.

You can get 170hp from standard sized turbo on SEB2, on that basis I think you could get 175, maybe 180 at a push and for short bursts with the slightly larger TTS1. TTS2 is a bit of a minefield with figures, they're all over the shop. I do know a few have hit 220 and more in a couple of cases, on SEB4.. what turbo they were using though is anyones guess.. MITSI
