Also sounds like you've got a pulley bearing off, or summit is rubbing on a pulley.
I've changed the aux belt tensioner and cambelt tensioner when i fitted the head gasket its made that noise since doing the hg but i think its a knackered ps pump as it was off the road for about 3 months.Originally Posted by WilkyWay

All i can suspect is dodgy inlet gaskets both sets havent been the best, got to try and get an alternative set.

also wilky that noise i can confirm is coming from the alternator! when i was under the car earlier chaning the oil return i turned her over and i can hear it clonking, but it still charges whats the point in changing something if it works perfectly fine? the noise doesnt bother me anymore just that bladdy gasket does.
