Before a had my punto I had a 106, that was lowered, as much as it looks mint I had huge trouble working on it as jacks would nor fit under it
I also found it bear impossible to find a garage that could MOT it
Has any one else had this problem ??
And how you get round it ??
Mines too low for a normal jack , i bought a low rider jack , works wonders ,
mot stations should have ramps for lower cars now, just have to inqiure beforehand
Drive onto a piece of wood, then no jack issues
buy some spring spacers that you use to tow a caravan with they raise up about 20mm my cars too low for the mot brake rollers but with the spacer i clear the floor by around 5mm lol well worth 20quid saves messing around looking for mot stations or changing shocks etc by the way t&r on woods lane/monk st are pretty good for this sort of thing
Agree there with Jamie saves a lot of hassle and stress, well worth it for that money
Then you still need a jack to fit the spring spacers lol
The jack in the tool kit is more than adequate ben im sure if you dont have one the local scrap yard has millions just get to loomes' before the bosnians grant haha
Buy a low jack that will sort it
Just carry two planks of wood for the garage to use to get the car on ramps
