    air filter horror

so i found somewhere that had an induction kit and i could get it today because im impatient anyway they fitted it and i nearly home when i smelt somethin dodgy, so i pulled over and looked under the bonnet....

this is what i found, the original filter housing had come off and was melting on the engine lol

needless to say i was majorly fooked off, so i rang them and i had to drive my car all the way back to croydon race and rally, they repaired it....

and this is what im left with...

id doesnt look too bad when your far away lol

getting the rest of the chrome pipes etc on 22nd august

You should ditch the air box and just put the filter on top . They like kind of a adapter thing on the seciento or the other one i think.

You really want something enclosed or move the filter so it doesn't sit above the manifold.

Manifold is under the air filter on that, and it gets hot. Not the best place for a air filter.

Yes and heat rises so anywhere above the engine isn't the best. Remove the box and use piping to move it down the front of the engine then a heat sheild to protect it from the manifold.
