Lower it
Be warned, if you don't like to see a car dirty, look away now!
Well here we go:
When I first brought the car.
Adding some alloys.
(We ran out of locking wheel nuts here, had to drive the car like that for a week!)
And now to add some fresh lights.
(The dent in the front quarter panel wasn't caused by me, but my foolish brother :P He was driving the car and some women drove into him! .)
(Really needs a new door...The bottom hinge has broken makes a horrible sound everytime you open it. Oh and its painted the wrong colour :P)
And the end result.
Modifications to come:
Colour coded Bumpers
Colour coded wing mirrors
Change to MK2 Badges/Remove 60 Sign.
(And not really a modification but get a private number plate)
Maybe eventually put a GT engine or a Sporting engine(?).
Any tips or suggestions would be great.
Any criticism would be appreciated as well
Help me make a better car
Thanks for viewing.
Oh and ignore the number plate being blurred on some and not others, took some photo's before others
as above but great start dude!!
looking good dude, was about to say door isnt right colour, other then that looks quite good needs to go lower definately, and please dont go for Mk2 badges dont go well on Mk1's imo but its your personel choice, keep us updated.
Okay, thanks for the tipsand glad you like it, will definitely have to look into lowering it then :P, would anyone recommend going smaller on the alloys or stick the the 16" if I lowered it?
Thanks.
You will definitely improve the cars handling after it's lowered, that was by far the best mod I did on my 1.2 Abarth.
I also went down the route of adding MK2 badges to the car, I wasn't fooling anyone. I also went for a private plate too.
It is your car at the end of the day however, can I suggest lowering it being your top priority, the car will be fine with 16s unless it's stupidly low, a 40mm drop is good enough.
drop it down by -60mm, it looks like an off-road Punto
Lowering it - Not my top priority but 2nd on my list now!
ChetChet, you dont happen to have any photo's of your's with the MK2 badges do you? Did you do the back aswell?
Thanks.
Click on the link to my 1.2 Abarth thread, I only did the front.
Make your 1st priority to lower it, it looks insanely high as it is and must handle like a barge lol
Nice colour when the door is matched up, get the bumpers colour coded too.
