Now I also have a full engine back 2 1/2"(from manifold to tailpipe) being made by Pete, aka Dr Evil. The elbow and downpipe are done. He is making a the catback with the de cat built into it. Will have 1 box and 3" rolled out pipe. He has also just ordered the parts to start building the tubular manifold.
Obviously I don't have pics as is not finished yet. Basically I want back what I've paid Pete to build it and that's £1150. But tbh I'm not expecting anybody to buy the lot so will price each section individually as required. There is only myself and Andy B with one of Pete's standard fit manifolds, and you will not find one better built, as goes with the rest of the system.

WRT the head of the 1.6. You cannot use it. It has an EGR valve on the front of it. Its not stronger either.
You can blank the EGR off. Has the head been tested then? myself and another discussed it and it made sense at the time. If I'm wrong then fine
technically the the Gt head and sporting are the same but due to the less heat stress the sporting is generally as no cracks etc
