Its not a hard job to do every thing is ready to lay your cable down under the floor tiles,
Its basicly running lengths/bunches of cat6/cat5e utp cable to every desk/floor-box or wall socket terminating the module side then the patch panels in the comms room.
The communications cabinets can be the hardest of them all due to the overall presentation,
All honesty its no harder than running a patch lead from your modem/router to your pc or laptop.

not having common sense... false being arsed to do it TRUE! that's what outsourced company's are for to fit wires through buildings, network engineers are paid way to much money and have 1000'n 1 other things to do.

its not hard at all piece of piss! the hard work is done by network designers who specifically map locations of servers/switches/routers etc... as regular cat5/6 cable can only be stretched to a max 100m hense the need for fibre

bet its a longggg job sometimes init ben?

its very true what your saying there about 100 metres we only use a max of 70-80 never over if the run was longer we would install another cabinet
it can take weeks in certain offices even months due to the fitment routine

typically 80 metres from switch to a patch panel yes, therefore leaves you about 20m to wire a panel on a desk etc...
