    Newsgroup progs

We all know of Grabit and newsbin, but are there any better progs out there? Grabit is great, but on older machines its pretty memory and processor intensive

Mozilla Thunderbird - IMO way better than Outlook Express, does my emails and newsgroups nicely

I mean more specifically, newsgroup leeching progs

    I wish Grabit wasn't so resource-greedy

Havent tried it mate as Grabit is ok on my machine, downloading around 2 GB's and surfing now and its fine.

It only fudges up if I try to update alt.binaries.dvd lol that takes about 100 years, or more. So I skip that lol.
