i guess if every gallon of 99 is about an extra 30p and you get another 2-3 miles to every gallon it does sound like a good move-thats another 20-30 miles on a tank so maybe about £4-5.00 saving every fill up at todays price.

over a year thats a serious cash saving assuming my 2-3 mpg estimate is a good one, but it could be more.

i might run it myself and work out the figures-see if it saves me some money although it would also be interesting to see if th ecar drives any different but i doubt it.

I use normal fuel then add an octane boost it's better and also keeps the cost down as one bottle does about 15/20 tanks depending on how much I put in!

Of course its better for your car, it contains more chemicals to cleanse your engine and the fuller burn should prevent carbon build up.

If been stuck using Total Excellium 98 this week in France and that is kack compared to V-power, definate difference in pull from low down.

Its like Andy said anyway, your car needs to be mapped to something like V-power 99 or Tesco 99 to feel the full benefit, it allows the map to be more aggressive.
