    Wheels Problem

    Hi Guys,

Me and my friend have noticed that our wheels are developing these type of 'marks' on the wheels can anyone explain them ? I have uploaded one of my friend's image. As you can see the marks are developing on the silver part. Could be happy if anyone helps ! Thanks :-)

    Corrosion.
You could try and polish it up, but I doubt it will do much. As above it's due to poor maintenance.

It looks like too harsh a chemical wheel cleaner has been used here, which has caused premature failure of the lacquer (hence the corrosion). Nothing short of a refurb will resolve this issue.

    Wonder wheels is acidic IIRC.

You sometimes see the plastic centre caps of alloys fading or discolouring, this is a result of repeated use of acidic wheel cleaner too.

    Valet-Pro Bilberry

Diluted @ 5:1 (water/product). With chrome plated wheels its different though, they should just be cleaned using ordinary shampoo.
