I'm going to get my GT3 dyno'd soon as there's a place which has a rolling road about 5 mins from my house. My question is what horse power do you think i should see? And maybe any suggestions for other things i could add for a better setup?
Spec:
Seb2
Baileys dump valve
FMIC
Apexi Air filter
Peco cat back exhaust & Evil De-cat
Dawes Device MBC set at 17psi
Magnecor leads (not that they do a lot lol)
The boost piping is next on my list as it's a bit mixed up with aftermarket/OEM pipes... but i want it dyno'd before i change them all.
Other info, the engine has been regularly serviced and is on 47k. It had an oil and filter change 500 miles ago and i intend to replace the plugs soon too.
If it makes 160-170bhp i will be happy i think
Matt
powerontheroad say 160bhp at 1.2bar (17psi) or 170bhp at 1.35bar (20psi)
go tomorrow!! i should be there tomorrow
You need more boost to see 170hp, 170hp is the max on seb2 with the stock turbo.
When you turn up, if they ask "what should it be making?" dont tell them otherwise miraculously it will make that power so you end up a happy customer.
My guess is 155bhp.
there not like that at mtech you get what it makes end of
I'm working tomorrow Rachel but i will book it in soon.
Ok well i'm not really wanting to turn the boost up any more as it's my daily driver and it runs really well atm ... 160bhp would be good to see then
Are there any other supporting mods i could add for a better setup?
Only 17psi? I reckon you'll be very lucky to see 160bhp. More like 155 I reckon.
As for supporting mods if you want to stick with standard turbo you'll be wanting evil elbow and downpipe then a live map imo. Beyond that though the turbo needs upgrading really. You could get a tubular manifold but the outlay is a bit big for a Seb2 setup...

Cheers Kyle, i'm not really wanting to upgrade the turbo any time soon though. If the results are disappointing i will have to take a trip to FCP in Bristol as it's only an hour away.
