Hello everybody from Turin
Hi everyone, I'm a MKI GT3 owner, from Fiat's birthplace, Turin. Good to know there's a great community of punto lovers elsewhere too.
I have fully std setup, waiting to put an eibach prokit springs set and bilstein B8 dampers, 195/45R15 tyres and wheels, everything sitting in my room at the moment. Just trying to follow healthy tuning steps.
Of course engine mod's will come, but not yet. Kinda angry with the MAF story on this car; extremely expensive the Bosch unit...not reliable the chinese, ebay unit.
By the way...has any of you tried the chinese MAF sensor with good results?
Cheers!!

Hi 'Renzo, and welcome to the forum. Personally, I wouldn't trust a cheap Chinese AFM, although I have no direct experience.

Thanks! I think the best thing we can do with this injection system is to install megasquirt or something like that. It's nonsense to have an input signal to the ecu (MAF airflow information) that prevails over engine real operation. It's enough to have a bad calibrated MAF and that's it, the engine won't work fine again.

At least the MAF is cheaper than it used to be. I paid £70 for a used one a few years ago, I only ever had one break and it was after using a jet-wash, not sure if that was the cause.
