    gt wheels dont fit a gt.???????????

    well i have sold the rialto and the deal was to leave some gt3 alloys on,i gone to fit them and the front wont fit as they catch on the caliper..how odd.could some bigger ALFA ones have been fitted as i have never known this.

    Are the discs correct? Could equally be at fault.

    Doubt any other calipers have been fitted, no one really knows of any decent alternatives for the GT.

    its got some grooved ones on but its the caliper thats catching,i cant even bolt the wheel on fully.

    Yes.... Maybe the disc plate is thinner so the wheel offset up higher and therefore catchs.

    You sure they're GT wheels?

    Is it front or rear that your having problems with?

    When i fitted my alfa speedlines, my calipers rubbed on the inside of the wheels

    its the front,they could be sporting wheels if theres any difference

    I would go along the same lines of dan, could be the discs causing you the issue

    The Alfa speedlines are basically flat behind the wheel though, an offset of about 40.

    It cant be the wheels if they are fiat sporting/GT alloys.

    just had a look at my red one and there different,the big ones have a big metal retaining spring near the front to hold the pads in.

    There are two types of calipers on the GT.

    A Lucas one and a Bendix one. But both basically the same.

    Maybe it does have larger calipers on!
