16vt starting issue

Ask on fccuk in the braking coupe sections, someone will have one.

That belt is the aux belt, only drives the power steering and alternator. The belt furthest left yes? I had problems finding one of those, try your local motor factors, just make sure you get a non air con one.

If you have any problems let me know as I still have the part number for mine in case I need another one.

Its not the aux belt bud, its the one behind all the metal and plastic casing, where the cam belt is situated, just the lower half of the engine

must be the balance shaft belt, you can buy a kit to blank it off and get rid of the belt

Or just get rid of the belt, the removal kit is reasonably expensive and not that necessary.

Would save me some money not replacing it, is it as simple as removing the pulleys it runs on?
