    fitting a rear wheel bearing GT3

    im in need of a wheel bearing to be replaced
    im about to buy a bearing kit off ebay or from my local motor factor , would i need one with abs or without and what is the proses of fitments

    You need one with abs. Non abs one won't have the teeth.

    should just be the hub nut to hold the whole hub assembly on. worst case is one of the bearing races is jammed on the stub, just grind it off. emmery the stub grease and slide new one on. torque for rear hub is 280Nm i think, dont quote me though.

    Wheel off,

    Caliper and disc off,

    Stub axle cap off,

    36(IIRC)mm nut off,

    Old bearing and hub off,

    Reassemble.

    That's a muppets guide to doing it lol. Obviously you'll need to jack the car up first etc

    You might need a hub puller too, about £11 from halfords.

    i know if i undo the hub nut the wheel will fall off lol the bearing has totaly colapsed

    had to do this and the rear hub nut is a 32mm
