im currently running a standard 1.2ltr and want to drop another (bigger) engine in but am unsure about what engine will be easy to swap without having all the stress of a turbo and loom work etc. im a dab hand in mechanics (level 3 qualified) not really to sure about what avenues i can take. my engine is currently at 100k miles so i think its about time it was reborn.
does anyone have any ideas on what will be the best engine i could put in without having to do much, ie make mounts etc

i want to convert my mk 1 sporting 1.2 16v on a R 1997 to a GT 1.4 turbo
ive never had a car before and i don't have a clue what too do, any advise what to do

fairly cheap mate, just need the right stuff to do it.
which gt engine would you advise me to get for a R reg sporting punto
