i was driving from uni to home today and i noticed my car was being rather hesitant say if i was going 70 and over it just wouldnt boost or go any faster and started to sound like it was going to misfire, however if i lift off the accelerator gently it would just go naturally.
also got a boost issue it sometimes only goes to about 5-6psi and at best 10-11psi running pbv.
Help, i recon its a knackered tubby tbh.

i can hear a hissing noise on boost going to jack her up tommorrow check all the hoses and pipes. something clearly isnt right :\
Also i got a lemans dv if im sitting at 70 about 3000 revs in 5th all i can hear is a hissing noise sounds like a bloody snake the dv stays open it was alright for a while now its pissing me off! lol
Yeah i got a mbc not sure if it works though kinda need to test one out
oooo leaky dv? sticky dv?.. or just a simple vac hose? does it hiss on idle? or just boost
sticky dv its fine if i let the accelerator go its if im doing motorway miles at a specfic rpm has a little sweet spot for opening slightly, doesnt cause the car to do anything dodgy just bloomin irritating.
pretty sure its just idle without opening the bonnet.
probs just a split vac hose m8 oor something hopefully an easy fix
