Scrap Value???

I got 83 quid for bare shell with bonnet. No doors or tailgate. That was at Thurrock scrap.

Si copper has gone through the roof, it's about £5k a tonne round here. I weighed in couple of hundred kg's in the summer when was about 3.5k per tonne

i should quickly define my erlier statement of shell:

i have taken all the doors, bonnet, boot, wings etc off

so not really a shell at all is it?

if you wanted to, when could you pick it up mate?

bearing in mind you would need a trailer or whatever and some wheels?

a shell to me is just the basic anyways, basically mines got more rot than i care to sort out, so if yours is as good as you say, anything is better, haha

i can have a word with my mate and should hopefully be able to swap at the weekend, got spare wheels here so no problems

No I deal with a lot of cable in my work and when we were doing a rip out a lot got 'damaged'

tell you what, bring me some old shitty stained pants and i'll give you some fresh ones too shall i?

the room in the garage is kind of urgent, like last week, i'll see what time the scrappy can get here and if he wont come before the weekend and you can get here you can swap the shell if you like.

when i speak to them in the morning, i will let you know when he is coming so you know how much time you have, but i wont be able to hold it for you, i really need the space so i don't spend my nights monitoring the cctv and up the windows to see if some car theif tries it on.

Thats no problems, ive allready arranged a trailor and guys to strip mine down, s soon as you give me the good to go. I just dont want to see a good shell go to waste. plus as i say, i have extra weight to add to my shell, so more money for you
