It's a bugger mate but it'll probably be the best thing you ever do lol. S15's are just awesome great choice!
after a hard days work today i thort id have a look around the punto so took the tarpin cover of the car and noticed that a little bit of paint on the rear arches has started to bubble i thort thats strange i only painted the inside 6months ago i then looked in the outer arche and rust appears to have settled on the surface so got a rachet and hit the outer arche and it went through my car it rotting away it was fine a my old address as it was in dry store but at the new house it has sat through winter and heavy rain underneath is fine as i had rubbed down and waxoiled it all but i never did the rear outer arches after a sit down with a cuppa some toilet paper and sobbing my eyes out i came to the conclusion that its breaking it and make new in roads to a much more reliable motor the nissan s15 spec r iv had my eyes on a few couple of pearl white and few gunmetal silver ones i want a standard one with low miles and will only be moddified subtitle now iv just got to get out there and kill rosie the rosso ;(

I need your manifold... Pm me
the rust is not a huge a amount probs no bigger than a 10p on one arche but its the fact that the shells just cant take the great british weather its fine having one where they dont salt shake the roads and it 70% hot sun and 30% rain im gutted as i really dont like to give up on things
I'm getting close to the same conclusion fella, my drivers rear inner arch has more rust than there is metal at the moment
Sad to see it happen to yours, seeing how much youve put into it
But an s15 is an awsome machine, a mate of mine imported one September time, fapping mental car!
im just fudged off i spent so much money and time rebuilding it and it cant even last 6months of crap wheather ok i never undersealed the outer rear aches but never thort id have any rust problems as it only had one small spot near the passanger footwell just a total waste of hard work, time and cash
From experience chap you're better off letting the car just sit out in the rain, rather than covering it with a car cover. It just traps the moisture under it and the car never gets a chance to dry off or get the wind on it.
Also even when its not raining you will get moisture trapped in the mornings and evenings as condensation in the air forms.
