Yeah. Doesn't look like that no more i don't think tho.
Some more what he did to A nice Astra!
And his cousin's Tigra.
The green corsa was broke for parts, engine is in another corsa now though
How many poeple on this thread actauly had any dealings with the XE and the LET?
i mean built them?, race them?, tuned them?
take the c20xe, what engine is capable of beating it? i mean they same size engine and N/A tuning? scooby sport (no) bmw (no) ecotec (definitly not), (the toyota 2.0 16v aint)
the c20let? hi tuned lets will dance all over hi tuned evo's, 300 hp let vs 550 evo? let wins
When you say racing do you mean against or actually driving the car??
My seb2 is quick (brad, arda and todd keep banging on at me to get it rollered, brad and arda seem to think it could be the quickest seb2 on here, which i doubt) but i can muller a breathed on xe, but the lets are a different kettle of fish. there rapid
A mate of mines had 7 of them. we could do an engine change in a day the amount of times he blew xe's up!!

I used to be big into the Vauxhall scene with various XE powered cars on the drag strip.
XE's whilst a cracking engine are dated by todays standards. The K20 for example is a far superior lump.
With regard to LET's, circa 200 and a bit BHP out of the box, decent engine but again old by todays standards. Whilst you can upgrade a LET you can also upgrade an Evo, Scoob, etc engine to far more power so not really a valid argument.
Also with the cars you have listed power isn't the only trick up their sleeves. Lets not forget traction, handling and braking. They make a far better overall package than any Vauxhall capable of running a LET of any spec.
with that coment mate, you talking about a modded turbo engine against a standard xe, you can tune xe's to well over 250hp and they would dance all over you, N/A tuned power is unbeatable imo, it all depends on self experience i suppose, some people have good and some people bad,
