    Help choosing new phone please

    Evening all,

My contract runs out in a few weeks and was wondering what you guys can reccomend?
Im not a huge fan of the iphone due to me being a lil clumsy and know how fragile the screens are.
Kind of steering towards the Htc Desire Hd, liking the large screen and endless android apps

Any experiences would be great or people who work in the industry

    thanks in advance
    ben

There are probably more apps available legit and via JB on the iphone... Ive only ever seen one broken iphone screen and most people i know have them... Not without faults though!

My Dad has the desire HD, he loves it, its like an iPad though its so big.

its not just the apps im wanting from it, even though android are catching up with apple

the thing that caught my eye with the hd was the screen size, i cant stand small buttons on touch screen phones, hate using the missus's samsung wave because my thumbs are too fat to hit the correct keys

I know 6 people with the iphone 3gs and all but 1 have either hax theyre screen replaced, or still have a broken screen because local places want near on £140 to repair it

You must only know spaz's Ben

The HD has the biggest screen going so its probably the best thing for you then, my Dad manages... he has beef hands!

Id be rich if i had a pund for everytime ive dropped my 3GS Ben... Even dropped it and then kicked it trying to soften the blow with my foot but multiplied the forces involved... I dont use a case and it looks brand new still, just careful generally.

I bought a £150 Black Dice watch and dropped it on the granite kitchen floor first time it came out the box once, **** happens....!!!

Im holding out for the 4G update/upgrade personally. I use it all day everyday, phone, IM, text, music and gaming...

I bought a case for my iPhone for £5, the phone has been dropped on carpet, pavement it's even been kicked cause i thought i could rescue the fall, but I ended up booting it across the room.

My phone is still working fine. If I could be wise with my choice, I'd get the one with the better battery life. My 3GS lasts 6 hours if i'm lucky, my old Sony Ericsson W995 lasted nearly 3 days with constant use.

My missus 4G doesnt fair too well, but she does put in hours and hours on Angry Birds...

We just have a collection of chargers about the gaff... charge it every night.
