    Oil on power steering pipes/rack on MOT ??

    Been looking at a car and its has 'Oil on power steering pipes/rack' on the 'Advisory Notice issued'

    Was jut wondering whats worst outcome of this, its cheap car T&T but was just put of by this, should i stay clear or not ?

    Oil? What sort? Could be just a spill (why though, funny place) or PAS pump/rack joints/unions slackish and leaking, from a change or other DIY maintenance.

    basicly the its got a power steering rack leak, could be leaky pipes or the rack leaking.
