took plug closest to the belt i guess no1 and i put a flat driver in the hole turned crank but the piston fills like it goes past the driver so i backed off enough to release the driver
yeah it can be 180 out, take number 1 plug out, and make sure number 1 piston is at the top on tdc.

its easy enough to check for bent valves. whip the cam cover off get yourself a feeler gauge and measure clearences between cam and bucket. you'll soon know if you've got bent valves
sorted well sort of ive managed to get the pulley off and belt on , took awhile to get the timing Wright think the phase sensor kept moving round when trying to fit back into the multi spline bit ,
its running but a little lumpy with a slight kind of tappet noise ,, maybe a tooth out or phase out of sync ,,
any ideas ppl
put a vid up of it running, re check the timing, and you will know if its atooth out, could be the piston hitting the valve.
