why is the downpipe more expensive? i would of thought the elbow would be allot harder and take longer to make therefor be more!

That is a downpipe, not an elbow, Downpipe comes in two parts and goes right to the turbo.

Elbow is a replacement for the cast elbow itself.

Sorry chaps looks like I goofed up on the discription, this is indeed the 2.5"downpipe (both sections) only and I don't think I've got an elbow.

    Thanks

Great improvement even if you are on the standard turbo tbh, more power without running more boost and less lag.

i would love a complete dr. evil elbow and downpipe but one that bolts onto the cat rather than a permanent decat. i cant be arrissed to do the change over before and after the MOT emissions test but i bet they make a noticeable difference in response times.
not sure why evil hasnt given the option - is it because keeping the cat on takes away the benefits of the new elbow and downpipe? sure he has good reason for not offering a direct fitment option.

Can't picture the Gt exhaust in my head but I have a feeling all the flexi section needs is a flange welding on the end for a cat to be used?

I am supplying a 2.5" flange to go onto the end of the flexi bit of the downpipe.

All you would need to do is either have a full 2.5" exhaust system with or without a cat or get a small reducer off of ebay to convert down to the original exhaust/cat size ect
I actually ordered a few of the 2.5" flanges so that I could then get the reducer to bolt the cat back in palce for the MOT time.
