When I voiced my opinion (politely) about this a few months back, Chris deleted me on facebook... Not exactly a great loss to me, but i think this kind of mentality is a good explanation of why he can't run a forum, and shouldn't.

He will see it, and lock/delete it after putting a comment like; "I'm not handing it over to anyone, I have personal problems at the moment and can't get online to sort it out. In the interim period Wilkyway will take over certain aspects of the running of the club"
Looks like he's doing something then, only, all he does is make Wilky's name red and not actually give him any help or materials to do anything.
I can sort of see things from Chris' perspective - this was once a thriving community and had a club aspect. He took it over in a time when (apparently) nobody wanted anything to do with it, as hard as that is to believe. So in that respect, you have to take your hat off to him for taking on the burden. There's an element of pride involved here too lets not forget, he'll probably feel a bit embaressed about how bad he's let things gets, and there'll be a part of him that probably does want to sort this place out.... but it'll only be a small part, not big enough for him to do something about it. Equally, he doesn't want to let go of his grip, again, because he wont want anyone to know the state of the clubs finances (if indeed he has been on the take).
So here we are, with a forum that doesn't function, with a none existant club, and an owner who shares similar qualities with many of the worlds dictators.
I must be one of the lucky ones he hasnt deleted off of facebook...Yet.
Thing is he updates that via his "iphone" every 5 mins. Im sure a year or so back he logged on here via tapatalk (iphone app). No reason why he cant these days.
Personally my opinions of Si have changed and don't think he is capable of running the club as he knocked me for a tenner

Things used to be alright years ago the wheat mixed with the chaff, or chavs lol. Think that gap has broadened alot over the years having its own repercussions on the forum and club. Chris isn't solely to blame for what it is right now but he should release his reigns if it's ever going to change. We cant miss the money if we never knew how much was in there etc.
