Been offered a little sumat
A friend of a friend has offered a 20vt lump with a new turbo for 100quid it needs a rebuild but im thinkin bout havin it just for the turbo and injectors then weighin it in what you guys think?
what exactly is wrong? oil pressure?? i would take a couple of things of you if you like coils, AFM and a couple of other small bits. turbo is worth a bit if in good condition so well worth 100 quid.
also you would easily sell the manifold if its not cracked.
buy it! you cant go wrong! you could sell most of the parts on ebay or here!
I think I will buy it just curious would the bottom end fit the gt head with some slight modification or is that just a purely stupid question lol defo havin the turbo an injectors for myself tho
i would delete that question before somebody spots it. the 20vt is a 5 cylinder, 20 VALVES (twin cam), 2 litre engine. a gt head would not fit on it.
dont let that put you off buying the engine. you will also get good experience around engines by stripping it down and looking at different parts.
