    dude they are so cheap to buy, just use a reverse drill bit

    Fair enough I havnt even looked at how much they are you but as you can guess I snapped a bolt and might need a new engine if it won't come out

    just use a normal drill bit to drill a hole down the middle of the snapped stud, then use an appropriate extractor bit. It has a reversed thread so that you drill it in using reverse on the drill, but when it bits the stud it cracks it loose and removes it.

    halfords do then for £20 come in a range of different sizes in there and they work a treat!

    I'm going to have to get it hellicoiled as it alloy into cast and it wont take it out with the exstractor
