Major knocking

Just wondering, i have a major knocking/banging noise on my car when ever i drive over a speed bump or pothole, any ideas what it is anyone ?

Dead body in the boot?


Front or Back
High or Low?
Engine Bay or Cabin?

front and back seems on the wheel area

Rear subframe bushes or rear trailing arm. Front ball joint or ARB bushes

thanks for the help guys just wondering also while im on here, the standard black dull plastic bumpers, do you know if its possible to cut the grill like looking part of it, and mesh it up by any chance?

cant see why not mate! anything is possible with bodywork.

Check and retorque your wheel bolts would be my first point of call if the knocking is front and back.


Re:Grill: I hacksaw or cutting disc on a dremel will be very capable of cutting. Please remember the plastic will get hot when cutting, don't get the molten plastic trimmings on skin or in eyes.
