hi people sorry ive not been on here much as ive been moving and not got my broadband sorted yet ,,

well ill steam in with my problem , be great if anyone can help me as this noise is driving me mad and i honestly cant find it ,,
basicly its a type of intermittent noise , as titled really its clicking and clonking from the drivers front wheel area wich sounds like loose wheel nuts but ive jack and tested this not the bolts i was thinking can the drive shaft be on its way out as it does sound like metal on metal , ill try and post a vid of the noise ,

Lift the wheel up and move it about see if there is any play in any of the joints.

i had a similar click/clonk coming from the drivers front also, i checked everything i could think of but no joy, till one day one of the coils in the spring snapped

thanks si ive jacked the car up and wobble the wheel no play in thhttp://www.puntosports.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/icon_question.gife bearing side .ive also lift both front and spin the wheels but that still never caused any clicking checked the gaiters no splits or tears what i did notice is it happens more on right lock and when reversing .........im stumped....

Ben, when i first got my GT had same problem, mine turned out to be the drive shaft and hub was fooked, hope this helps

yer maybe a chance that they both have too due to these potholes just cant avoid them all .. where about did they break on yrs were in the shaft ..
also it fills like it can be a major brake issue as i can fill it on the pedal

check that its not the brake dust/heat sheild scrapeing on the the disk.

sean yr spot on long shaft cv boot inside one split and completely dry
it got worse today so took to my mate he had it on the ramp today and spoted the issue gona order a new one and get fitted
