I honeslty dont know, seems my car is being extremely picky with which ECU it likes and which it doesnt. Apart from the usual 10 digit number ending 099, 841 and 159, which distinguishes wether the ECU is Gt1, 2 or 3, there are several other series of numbers, on some of the ECUs they are exactly the same, on others they vary...
If you look at the picture of the ECU in this post (How to identify your ECU), you will see a big number on the right hand bottom corner of the label which say 011. My Gt1 ECU and the one i tried today are both 014, the one i tried yesterday (which worked) was 015, could this be yet another difference between the ECUs?
